Senior Resource Management Analyst

Duties:

Saatchi & Saatchi North America, Inc., has an opening for a Senior Resource Management Analyst at its Saatchi & Saatchi LA offices in Torrance, CA. Duties include: Ensure that all client advertising projects/tasks have all resources needed to efficiently and cost-effectively produce agency work at the highest quality level. Design, plan, schedule, direct and coordinate operational systems, processes, policies and relevant related resources from concept through implementation (including conducting organizational evaluations and work efficiency and measurement studies) to support efficient operations across all agency departments and offices. Support management reporting, information flow/management, business processes, and organizational planning of resources for agency’s clients’ advertising work. Coordinate creative department resources (including schedules, workloads, individual development plans, reviews, goal-setting and assignment) to ensure tasks/projects are properly staffed. Identify resource strengths and weaknesses, and with Executive Management Team, forecast and manage resource needs (including staffing) and budgets, track fiscal planning against actuals, select, analyze and implement resource decisions, and set up systems and workflows that integrate new creatives and freelancers into agency procedures. Lead identification, selection, onboarding, use and improvements of all software and tools used to manage and collaborate agency resources.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Economics, or Advertising and four years of post-baccalaureate experience in resource management in a full-service advertising agency that includes performing high-level evaluations and in-depth analysis of agency-wide current resource utilization and needs to build a Resource Department; proven success in increasing agency’s efficiency and profitability through implementation of traffic/resource management solutions; facilitating work flows and communication channels to allow smooth collaboration between departments including Account Management, Creative, Production, Traffic, Brand/Media Planning and Strategy; overseeing resources of creative department including coordinating all schedules, workloads and resources including creative staff; working with senior management to determine which creative staff is available and best suited to be assigned to projects; using agency staff, temporary employees and outsourcing partners to staff projects; and developing, implementing and supporting internal workflow software systems and tools used for managing internal work flow, tracking billable hours, forecasting project management resources, and tracking issues/improvements/fixes for all agency resource forecasting tools and project management software.
