Account Coordinator, Social

As an Account Coordinator on the Social Media Idea Management (IM) team, you will provide support to a specialized IM team (acting as social media subject matter experts) on all vehicle/brand initiatives and campaigns moving through the building.

Success for this position is measured by, but not limited to, your understanding of agency processes, ability to multi-task with a fast-paced and ever-changing workload, and knowledge on how brands can use social to create meaningful connections with consumers.

Candidate experience should include:

  • College degree strongly preferred
  • 6 months-1 year of experience in an agency environment preferred
  • Strong working knowledge & passion for social media platforms and industry trends
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention-to-detail; demonstrates a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to lead self-contained projects unaided (small to medium-sized scope)
  • Excellent organization and time management; ability to prioritize workload and multi-task
  • Proficient with the following computer software/systems: Internet, email applications, and MS Office
  • Able to work extended hours, including weekends, as needed
  • Proficient with and interested in all social media platforms (emerging as well as primary platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter)

Roles and Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting Social IM Team members across all initiatives and campaigns (large and small)
  • Contributing to listening, reporting and the following of Social Media trends
  • Regular communication with Integrated Idea Management teams, Strategy, Media, Creative, Project Management, and Production departments
  • Assisting in all stages of production with internal agency groups, including ownership and regular maintenance of all status and update documents
  • Processing estimates & supporting budget management
  • Obtaining Client approvals during production stage, as appropriate
  • All other duties as assigned
