Digital Media Planner

As a Communications Planner, you work closely with the Consumer Communications (C2) Department in developing and implementing Digital Media Plans that deliver against key performance metrics for a highly respected automotive client.

An ideal candidate will be a self-starter with knowledge and energy to develop and execute media plans with 3+ years of experience in digital planning.

Candidate experience should include:

  • Highly proficient in digital media planning including display, mobile, video, programmatic and social
  • Understand media fundamental and basic planning principles and planning process
  • Experience analyzing and telling stories using data for reporting and planning purposes
  • Working knowledge of media research tools (Pathmatics, Kantar, ComScore etc.) and ability to analyze syndicated research
  • Fluent in digital technologies such as but limited to: Doubleclick Campaign Manager, Integral Ad Science, Oracle Blue Kai, DSPs, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Roles and Responsibilities include:

  • Plan development and implementation
  • Cross collaboration with other departments such as account, strategy, creative, project management and analytics
  • Write, analyze and presents media POVs and plans to the agency and to clients
  • Carry out buying strategies and negotiate media to maximize investment
  • Implements and follow media process and agency process
  • Maintain and develop relationships with media vendors regarding existing plans and new opportunities
  • Analyze analytics to optimize plans
  • Responsible for coaching, guidance, inspirational leadership and performance management of all direct reports (if applicable)
  • Support and inspire the work and the people
  • Successfully prioritize work and projects to meet clients’ needs

  • Automotive and programmatic media experience is desired
