Copywriter (Search)

As a Search Copywriter, you work closely with the National planning teams and Creative department in developing and implementing Search Ad Copy for all campaigns to generate consumer response that contributes to qualified actions and leads for our client, Toyota.

Success for this position is measured by the following:

· Development of intriguing search copy

· Create and analyze copy testing for efficacy and efficiency

· Ability to work and collaborate with others


An ideal candidate will need to be a self-starter with the knowledge and energy to develop SEM and should be capable and confident in presenting your own strategic plans/content to the team. Additionally, the candidate should have 2-3 years of writing experience with a focus on SEM or SEO.

Candidate experience should include:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention-to-detail and demonstrate a high degree of accuracy
  • Excellent organization and time management; ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment, under tight deadlines
  • Demonstrate resourcefulness, creatively use resources to proactively solve problems and get the job done
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with reporting within the DoubleClick suite or comparable service
  • Ability to build and maintain strong interpersonal/professional relationship
  • Leading by example, finding solutions and striving for excellence
  • Automotive or retail media experience is desirable

Roles and Responsibilities include:

  • Review all search creative for consistency and develop guidelines based on learnings
  • Provide recommendations on copy testing
  • Develop content strategy around different search tactics (i.e.- Remarketing, Sequential messaging)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the daily execution of search initiatives
  • Evaluate large pools of data and analyze results to maximize campaigns
  • Generate and disseminate reporting to ensure wider team is aware
  • Write, analyze and presents POVs to the agency and to clients
