Budget Supervisor

As the Senior Finance Analyst you will be working directly for the agency Senior Finance Manager and alongside Account Directors. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented accounting/finance professional with strong experience in accounting and financial analysis. This individual will have excellent Excel database skills and be responsible for client financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis as well as various special projects and duties

Role and Responsibilities

  • Preparation, maintenance, tracking & forecasting of client fees, estimates and budgets related to scope changes and incremental projects
  • Responsible for the monthly client financial reporting, reconciliation and discrepancy investigations
  • Preparation of management reporting including timesheet reviews, client reporting and projections
  • Weekly reviews of the budgets and reviews any changes with the account group
  • Has constant communication with Account Directors and clients regarding the budgets
  • Works closely with cost control to review job closings throughout the year.
  • Reviews job and project status with the account group with the goal of either closing or committing client dollars especially at the client’s year-end.
  • Opportunities to work on other ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required
  • Understand, practice, and enforce Corporate Policies and Procedures


Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. An advanced degree is a plus.


Skills and Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in Finance or Accounting
  • Proficient in the following computer software/systems: Internet and email applications, MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Experience working with SAP or similar software
  • Ability to use good judgment when making business decisions and performing tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention-to-detail; demonstrates a high degree of accuracy
  • Excellent organization and time management; ability to prioritize workload and multi-task
  • Advertising agency or similar creative experience is a plus
